Ed Note–I didn’t think it was necessary to label this piece as satire, but since I have received some nasty emails accusing me of sexism, I guess I need to explain what this is. It is a commentary on the objectification of women in the West as opposed to the Muslim world, where strict dress codes are intended to protect women from exploitation. My post is one giant question mark: Would you prefer your daughter in a hijab or a bikini? I’m telling you, folks–this job can sometimes be so exhausting.
